BF3- large maps, moderate game play, not run and gun at all. More realistic

COD- Smaller maps, fast game play, more
Like a game than an actual war simulator

It is certainly different games. I play both, they both have drawbacks IMO I like CoD roght now because its new and BF3 gets old pretty quick.

I know Game Informer has an 18 page cover story on the game but I am not a suscriber so have no idea how to get that article besides buying that magazine issue. Here is what I found on IGN a few days ago.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/11/...tails-revealed

Every time I read it I want to pull a Cartman from South Park and freeze myself until the release of this game like he did for the release of the Wii.

If they hadn't jacked up the multiplayer, Dragon Rising would have been the best FPS. It wasn't 12 people running around halo jumping or drop shotting, so it was never going to be popular. You shot at people from hundreds of yards away. Most fun multiplayer game ever...Call of Jaurez, Bound in Blood (also the shortest life span for a multiplayer aspect).

IT is a huge step backwards. Although, DICE is progressively ruining BF3 with patches.

The client side hit detection in BF3 is almost unbearable now. Though I've always been more of a BF fan more than COD.

COD has its own charms, but my best warfare memories are 32-player LAN parties of Battlefield 1942 and BF2. There's just so much more fun you can have with a massive environment and vehicles.

I don't know what happened, but since the latest patch came out, my game connections have seriously improved. Funny, because that seems to be contrary to many others.
