PS3 Games for Teens and Younger

So my kids are getting a PS3 slim for xmas (got a great deal on it...$200!!!)

I've already ordered:

Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

I'm thinking of getting them "Army of Two".

Anyone with experience on these three games care to comment?

Also, any other games that would be acceptable for 10 and under? Any genre will do.

Army of Two is absolutely awesome. Me and my little brother beat that game together. I hope you are okay with your kids hearing lots of cursing and seeing a whole lot of violence. That game is sweeeeeeet.

And I heard that Mortal Kombat vs DC is fun but the extras suck. There are none.

I'll have to look into this one some more then. Some violence is ok with me but I don't like the cursing part. Is it F bombs or more like "Bible" cursing?

GTA4

Look into the COD series. IIRC there's some profanity in 4 and World at War, but 3 was a pretty clean game. Not as much fun as the newer ones, but you could probably find it cheap, and it's still a decent game.

I'm 18 and I enjoy it, my little cousins love it, and all my college buddies enjoy it. It's great to just fool around in, you can even build some rigs and take em rockcrawlin!

+1 for Little Big Planet.

Ratchet & Clank is a good kids game as well and not too frustrating, at least until the final boss, the difficulty curve is off the bloody charts there.

Any of the Lego games (Star Wars, Batman or Indiana Jones) are pretty fun and can be played co-op.

Uncharted is also pretty decent, it's more adult though, it's basically Tomb Raider with better gunfights and the sequel comes out next week, which is supposed to be even better than the original.

UPDATE:

Ratchet and Clank is AWESOME! Totally addicting. Good call Kyoseki! It is very easy for my youngest boy to play, but not so easy that I would find it boring.

Little Big Planet is interesting and I haven't played it much yet, but I'm not disappointed.

I did buy Army of Two for myself (a few F bombs, so kids can't play it), but I've always had a hard time with using console controllers to aim and run. So I'm a little frustrated right now, but I'll get the hang of it. I'd prefer a mouse and keypad. I wonder if they make one for the PS3???

Any other suggestions for PS3 games....preferably along the lines of Ratchet and Clank????

How about the sports games like golf, baseball, football, etc?

The Lego games are great!!! I have the Star Wars version and love it!

Keep moving forward. But keep an eye on history, for if you don't, you are doomed to repeat it.

We bought Motorstorm Pacific Rift,
and that's been a lot of fun for me
and my 5 year old. It's an online
game so if you have any family with
a PS3, you can race against each other.

Dirt was a great game, I enjoyed playing it a lot.

Pain was another one that was good, but got repetitive very quickly. I believe that one is download only off the playstation store. I'm not sure if there are any curse words in it either.
