I heard about some white pelicans hanging out on the Rock River in Oregon IL, so I headed over today to check them out. There had to be at least 100 of them. Here's a couple of shots I nabbed....I'm still working on the rest.

I used my Canon 7D w/Canon 300L F/4 IS.

I have never seen them around here before, it was pretty cool.

Took some pics of my 12yo cutting up a fallen tree with the chain saw, then hacking some 2X4's with the miter saw for a squirrel trap we were building. I didn't take any pics of him using the table saw because I was watching him closely to make sure he came away with all his appendages. lol

Hope he's got his ears on with that chainsaw!

The miter saw is something you need to worry about too! I know a guy who cut off half of one of his fingers with their saw, that's just like yours.

No chaps with the chainsaw Rik?

Awesome pics from the flying pelican and Jeffry's yellow jeep, also the horse does look cool. I lve the storm pic and the weird looking crowds. Looks like cryogenic liquid nitrogen clouds put in the other pic....
Nice

I actually looked at the exact same thing Slow shutter speeds and fast-moving objects sometimes result in interesting photographs
