Norris Salvage in Elizabethton, TN. There's a large number of Beetles, Super Beetles, vans, convertibles, notchbacks, Ghias, you name it. The current owners dad started the salvage yard with collecting VWs back in the day. I'd say all told there are a couple hundred. Most are just hulks, but some are as good as I've seen brought back to life before. The pic of the vintage Dead decal is a lost one, last time I went back for some more pics I noticed some d#$khead had busted out that window. A shame because that shot kind of fits, Grateful Dead in a VW graveyard. At least I have the one good shot to preserve it.
