Thanks, was really good! My girlfriend made it, but I ate it, so I felt the right to post it!

It's a sort of cajun/creole flavored shrimp stew, it is roux based... so it takes a little while to make it.

That's homemade cornbread with honey butter!

We once made a batch and sent a picture to Emeril Lagasse and he emailed us back.

That was pretty cool.

Everybody is fine: my cat though is living with a friend of mine: she has a better life there. And it's life quality what matters. I am a sole dog person, and mine are a handful at times! So it was not fair to her. It's much better for her in a cat lovers house.. But my shepherd misses her. But he is allowed to visit er... Works all out...
Sorry to hear about the cat but sometimes it is better, how is your cookbook coming along?

Well, I need to take time to type up recipies, It's coming along, I am learning a lot, it's also when I start culinary school I think I can explain more stuff in the book, so the book release might get pushed back a year, but that for this reason is ok.better quality, my customers get more know how for their money....

Sometimes ts hard to make time to sit down and type up stuff, but I still love to cook....and to eat : so that has not changed a but. I am just thinking if I can put fundamentals of baking in there too, so I can learn it and explain t o others I have truly mastered it. Ad that's the whole deal. Cooking is one thing, baking a whole different story. You don't know for example what cream of tartar does, forget it. It puffs up dough and makes cookies rise up higher. But if u cook and u add cream of tartar to sauces u might get a surprise. An unwanted surprise. I am just saying. Baking seems to me like more chemistry than anything else. Right amounts in right combination with right temperature and back ver right time to ambient temp. There you go....
