Here are some pictures I did of my roommate. First time I've really been able to use my new camera since I got it for Christmas. They came out much better than I expected because I was shooting against my dorm kitchen wall and floor with the florescent ceiling lamp for lighting.
What kind of cameras do you guys have? I need to get a new one. I use an old minolta 35mm for most of my playing around, but the ones I posted tonight were taken with my wife's little sony point and shoot digital. I need a good digital SLR. Maybe santa will bring me one next year..................
I took my picture with an Olympus 4.0 Megapixle piece of crap camera. It was just a nice day.
That is if you were referring to my exempary photography skills. If not, never mind.
It's a nice photo, seriously. The composition is laid out well. I'm looking at getting one of the Nikon digital SLR's, but I don't know much about them, except that they cost a lot more than they should.
I wanted to get into photography back when everything was 35mm. I'm now going to have to learn about these digital cameras and bite the bullet and shell out some doe for a good one also. All I have is the old beat up Olympus and my wife has a nice Cannon. But they are both the small compact type. Nothing fancy.
This is probably my favorite picture I have taken. It was with a Vivitar 35mm in Bosnia. We were doing a route recon that lead up to this house. After talking to the man in the background we found out that everywhere outside of his property was still mined. He had a friend from the Army clear his property and he had moved back in. They still did not have electricity or running water.
