Plumbing / Constuction question
I'm not sure how to go about fixing this, or who to even call to fix it. Here is my problem. My garage has a concrete floor, and the water pipe bringing water from the house to the garage has broke. Its a plastic pvc pipe and broke pretty close to the ground where it comes up.
I honestly know nothing about this, but it looks like my only option is to chisel up the concrete around the broken pipe so I can put a coupling on it or something. Any ideas?

Yep it sucks but that is about the only way.Unles it broke off even with the concret then you might be able to put a street 45 or 90 in.pics would really help.

I have come across this problem a few times in remodels. I use a hole saw a little bigger than the pipe to cut the concrete out around the pipe then take a chisel to the gap from the hole saw and the concrete should bust out relatively easily. You should then have enough room to slide on a coupler. Oh and make sure its a diamond blade, not a bi-metal.

is the sink right above that?IF so plenty of room for a street 45 then a little peice of pipe and another 45 to staighten back up.no problem.just go to home depot, lowes, hardware store, take that pic in to them tell them you want a street 45 to come right out of that and straighten back up with another 45.

Thanks alot guys, i sure appreciate the help on this. The knob to turn the water on is where its broke. It was a water spicket, and it was about 3 inches from top to bottom.
