I wish I knew how many hours I spent playing Doom. Insert the 3.5 floppy disk into my DOS computer and it was game on.

PS4 for me. I can't stand the xbox controller, and that's the only reason I won't be getting one. I've played with a playstation controller for more than a decade and that's what I'm comfortable with.

Ok pup... Guess that makes me the alpha dog... Just turned 43 - look 33 - act 23! I started on the original Atari 2600 (yes, more than 1, but the 1st had wooden sides). Then continued on w intellivision, colecovision, Atari 5200, commodore 128, and every system you mentioned. Videogames were the best babysitter i could have while my pops worked 2 jobs. Chris, Congrats for keeping your youth intact! It's not easy!

Well the PS3 was the first do it all home experience... Now Xbox is trying to mimic that... We had a ps one in '96 while these wise mouthed whipper snappers are just getting an Xbox one?!?! Maybe they'll give hd DVD a run again? *cough, laugh, cough*. I have a few ps3s in the house now & a 360. Honestly I enjoy certain things about both but do enjoy getting fanboy panties in a bunch! I favor the ps3 and will get the ps4 first.

Right now nobody is certain which will be best - we can only hope - but the crapbox is not showing much to be all too impressed with. It almost has all the power & graphics the ps4 is slated to have, it has an upgraded kinect - I didn't want one to start!

eh. doesn't have to.

well I guess if you factor in speakers, keyboard, mouse, monitors... then I'm probably around a grand. I built mine 3 years ago I think. Run crysis 2 and mw3 on higher settings with no issues.

But the actual PC tower only cost me ~500 to build.
