I didn't really care about the features either. I thought voice control was stupid and that the whole TV passthrough thing was dumb as well. I use both almost everytime I use my box now. Being able to switch to TV almost instantly without dealing with a remote or switching inputs is great.

The voice control is pretty cool, like if something boss happens in BF4, I can just say "xbox, record that" and it will record the last 30 seconds of what happend.

I usually download every game that comes out for ps+, then cancel it. That way it stays in my account forever and can install it anytime

Yep, same thing with Xbox. Just queue it to download, it will flag as being 'purchased' on your account and then you can d/l it whenever.

******* europe PS4 release is killing the servers. Took all morning to even get on the PS store to redeem my $30 12-month PS+ code.

Haha, when I was at school, my roommate & I always knew it was late when everyone we played was English.

How's the battery life on the Xbone controllers? I like the DS4 but the battery life is straight up laughable; it's like 6-8 hours at best and you can't turn the stupid LED off without taking it apart and disconnecting a cable. My 360 controller lasts about 35-40 hours under regular use on rechargeable Energizer batteries.

I have the play and charge pack for my XB1 controller and without having timed it, I'd have to guess a good 24 hours or so of use before it completely dies. That's just a guess since I haven't timed. Could be more or less.

My controller stays charged. Gota few USB and wall chargers close by. But yeah, it's annoying. Like I have to plug it in every night.

On a brighter note
I know this is just a demo and not gameplay, but this looks amazing. I've been fooled by demo videos before, but from what I've see so far this game
Looks amazing
