The money for my next jeep modification will now be spent on the wife's car.....since she tried to plow snow with it.

Sweet!
Around my work we're still working under the 'hard times' plan, which consists of: 5% wage cut, bonus plan cessation, 401k contribution match halt, 50% increase in insurance costs while coverage went down, and mandatory increased hours for salary emps. I'm not talking about mom & pop business here, rather major corporation. I expect they'll hold on to the current plan as long as they can until it's no longer even plausible to deny that things are looking better.
...you guys need any help?

She lost control, crossing some railroad tracks (at a reported 5 mph), and slid into a snow bank. The Fusion is going to need a new front bumper, the passenger corner was crushed.

Well, I guess you still have a job right? I really think this is going to get worse before it gets better, numbers don't match up to me......... And no, I am not wearing a tin foil hat.
No, and with me working nights, by myself, I don't talk to anyone any more.
I am going to our holiday party tomorrow night, and there will be people that I work with that I haven't seen since the last one, and there are only 100 people....

I do and am happy to be here.
As much as I'm looking for that light at the end of the tunnel, I actually kind of have to agree with you on the numbers not adding up. While the haze and fog is maybe fading, I sure don't see the sun coming up yet.
Good luck with that work party lol.

Yes, I'm glad she's ok.
Last winter my wife slid through a turn, off camber so she had the wheels turned when she jumped the curb and ran about have a carlength up to the sidewalk.
It took her a few days to own up to it - when she said "how come when I'm driving straight the steering wheel is crooked?" Bent tie rod and needed an alignment.
I tried to tell her that if you have to run off the road, steer into it, don't try to fight it.

$1,200 in damages......just think of all the things I could have done to the jeep with that cash....Merry friggin' Christmas.....
Did I mention that she nearly ripped a front wheel off the car last year at this time? Over $500 spent there. Her Fusion has seen more "trail damage" than my jeep........
