Pandering for My Artistic Kid

Gonna pander for my kid a little here. This is a painting that my 11-year-old son did in school. It is called "Chinese Bamboo". I think it's pretty cool:

Jordan is a finalist in an art contest with this painting. If you like his painting, please follow the link below and Vote for Jordan. If he wins, he will get $300 worth of art supplies for himself and $2,500 worth of art supplies for his school.

You can cast up to 10 votes from each computer and account.

Thanks!

It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it. While you can. While it's still here. So get out there and hunt and fish and mess around with your friends, ramble out yonder and explore the forests, encounter the grizz, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breath deep of that yet sweet and lucid air, sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, that lovely mysterious and awesome space. Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to the body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those desk-bound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this: you will out live the bastards."

Not bad. He'd definitely give an elephant a run for its money.
