Painting Tire Covers

What type of paint and sealant should be used when air brushing spare tire covers?

just purchased 4 new rims and prefer to cover up old spare instead of spending extra $ for something that will never hit the ground, hopefully.

I use AutoAir....2 part water sol. catalized airbrush paint, cures with heat, works great on vinyl and leather.
Should be available at better air brush supply shops.
