Evil ,
Have you ever put armor all or any protectant on it ? If so you'll have to start buy chemical cleaning ( acetone ). Dont paint it with a can , please . You have nice jeep ( I'm assuming it is the one you did stereo install on )saw your pics . I do this type of work , so email me with your questions , or I'll meet you at gorman and we'll do some wheelin and talk about it .

I took my hard top to a local body shop and they painted it for about 75 bucks. It looks better than a factory paint job. If it scratches up you can buy touch up paint.

i didnt put armor all on it.. here's what i've tried..
(all with electric buffer)
meguiar's paint cleaner
turtle wax polishing compound
west marine fiberglass cleaner
z-best car wax cleaner and polish
these all made the top look decent for about a day.. then it was oxidized again the next day.

Clean it, scuff it, shoot it.....
To clean it use a pre-paint/prep solvent for plastic/fiberglass...(SEM makes a prep/cleaner)
Scuff with a ScotchBrite pad and tack rag it,
Paint it with a flexible plastic/fiberglass paint like "SEM trim black" satin black finish.
If all done properly and to manufact. spec. your top will look great for YEARS.
Cheers,
Ash.....

I wet sanded mine and painted it with some Rustoleum (not because I thought it would rust, but because somebody on this board recommended it for durability) and a small roller. After the primer and the first two coats looked alittle rough, but after the third it looks good enough for me and very durable.
You should be able to find my old post on it somewhere if you're interested.
