oil pressure sensor

hi guys im new to the jeep grand cherokee and hooked on the car but got a problem my oil sensor gauge is going nuts it shoots up to the top then back down to 0 again i think its the oil pressure sending unit i've ordered a new one but for some reason i can't find the sensor so if you could help me out it would be much appreciated pictures would really help lol its a51 plate grand cherokee 3.1 diesel

You'd probably have better luck posting in the model-specific forum, but I don't know how many folks on here have one of the 3.1s since they were never available in the US...
