Ah, now that makes sense.

Sure.. Drop off the jeep at my house. I require 50% money down. Then the rest within 3 months of the finish build. You can pick it up once I receive 100%.

Maybe I'm just too uptight from the etiquette elsewhere on the internet, but the search feature isn't there just for show
I don't know if I use the search properly or not, but it sucks. It brings up very bad results, at least every single time I use it. Is this because I don't pay?

Even for lifer's such as myself, the search is flakey. I don't remember if there's a different/better one for supporters or not though, been too long.

its because we cant tell the newbs what to do or we (at least I did) get banned, for being too mean...

I scroll threads nowadays looking for people building their rigs right, if I see one more 2" lift and 31s "build thread" in the XJ section my head is going to explode.

the newbs run rampid on the forum, and the mods back them up.

is that the banhammer I hear?!?

It's okay, JF taught me that the 2.5L, Ax-5 and D35 together are so powerful that angels weep when I shift into 4LO. Gonna be running 44's with stock gearing, stock diffs, and stock leaves (someone mentioned I might have to trim a little bit, but we'll see).

Try different combinations of search terms OR

Use google like I do when the search pisses me off (all day, everyday).
1st) Use google to search JF for you
Example: "Why is the D35 such a fantastic axle" site:www.jeepforum.com

The quotation marks mean it'll search THAT EXACT TERM

Nothing?

2) Try again without quotation marks. It'll search things that have any combo of those terms (like a regular google search does), but still focusing on jeepforum) Or *cough* other certain forums that make you become a paying member to search *cough*

3) If not, try again without site:the site you entered.
This is just a regular google search.

that does it for me 99% of the time, because eventually you will find some information on the various jeep/4x4 forums scattered within range of google

The other 1% is either solved with the link below OR finally going and making a thread outlining what you already know and what you would like to know.

I do see a lot of people posting just the heck of it for count. But just as much there are good posters out there. People say, "Oh I didn't find anything in the search at all." But it might be that people do not know how to use the search properly. I also use the Ctrl F key and type in what I am looking for to skim through the posts. I found a lot of my answers in search and share some of what I know (which honestly, isn't too much, I am still learning). The search button is a wonderful tool to me.
