Without further ado I present the official traveling Jeep! The concept is simple, this plain white Jeep is destined to travel the world passed from Jeep Forum member to Jeep Forum member. Members will request the Jeep on the ADDRESS DROP thread and upon receiving the Jeep, snap a few pictures significant to it's location and/or temporary owner. Modifications can be done to the Jeep, let's just not ruin it. Painting, stickers, new tires/suspension (for our engineers) are all fair game, I just ask that all original equipment stay with the Jeep. Also I will forbid political/religious/controversial themes or statements. This is a GD thread, let's keep it that way.

A few simple rules:
  • Do not request the Jeep if you are unable to send it back out on your dime. The Jeep is 1:18 scale die cast and will cost a few bucks to ship it.
  • Request a stop at your address by posting on this link this is to keep this thread clean of requests.
  • You will have 5 days to do your thing with the Jeep before you must send it to the person below you, again on your dime. To keep the game exciting, a quick turnaround is important.
  • Photo limit 5 so put up your best few.
  • All registered JF members can play, need not be a paying member, but please contribute to this fantastic site if you can.
  • No Political/religious/controversial themes or statements on the Jeep or on this thread. Also keep it PG13!
  • Let's keep the chit chat to this thread, not the address drop.

Ok check back frequently as rules are subject to change. Enjoy!

Will

Awesome, thanks man. I appreciate you taking the time out to do that. I fixed it up a little since sending to you, so hopefully your info will make it even better. Also, my bad, I didn't even see that you put a link in your original thread. I thought this was the first thread for it. I misread the whole thing, lol.

just to clarify for people adding address. I'm after flying_bosun, and then I'm sending it to 2006_Sport. I don't know of he already has an address for the next person.

Yup, very simple. If you want the Jeep, and have the funds to ship it out within a week, pst your info (or PM request) on the traveling jeep address drop thread and the guy above you will send it to you. Then, in turn, you will "do your thing" and send it to the guy directly below you.

Cheers

We should set up a list on the address thread so people can just check the list real quick and see who they send to next or see how long they have to wait at a quick glance instead of scrolling through the posts.

04 TJ- Short Bus. It's got some stuff.

Sometimes I question my sanity. Occasionally it replies.

I suppose you could do what you want, but if I was the next guy I'd take 'em off.

Ok here is the Jeeps first stop!

I thought it would be fitting for the Jeep to enter this adventure as many of our ancestors did, so here it is with Ellis Island and Lady Liberty herself!

Also to tribute a new chapter for NYC and America a pic with the Freedom Tower.

Can't wait to see where our Jeep goes... Cheers
