When I was a traffic cop, I chased, and caught, a bike one Sunday morning. I was initially going after him for 97/65, but when I got on his tail, I think he was under the impression he could lose me. He left me when he first got on it, but I caught up and stayed with him. At that point, I was running 155mph. He tried to tell me he didn't know I was behind him. Fastest I've ever gotten. I've tagged several cars in the 130s, and a small handful in the 140s; mostly bikes.

Have had a few vehicles up to around 120-130 mph. Always on an open, straight strestch of expressway. Well mostly. Sometimes just a short burst to speed and then off the throttle. But never when other cars are around.

That's all I can say.

fastest ive driven was around 145 in my CRX

5th gear rev limiter, doing the math its in the 145 range. quite frightening considering it was done in a tin can, lol

Driven my 1988 Iroc-Z to 130. The nose gets very light and needs a bit more to keep things stable. All in all, a fun car for the day.

Ridden in an S2000 at 130 as well.

The most fun was 135 on a Ski-Doo MachZ on an open lake. The top speed is fun, but getting there as fast as that thing will get you there is simply amazing!

172 in my Z06. Early morning (not dark), middle of nowhere with no cars in sight either direction. Plenty of pedal left also...

I've been up to 135 in my old '89 Taurus SHO, and I knocked off at 140mph in my '97 SHO.

Both cars were stable as heck at those speeds.

The dumbest speed move I made was in a '66 Ford F100. It was lowered, had a 289 V8, and high gears in the axle. I was racing a newer Chevy half-ton (back in '95), and I had the needle completely buried in the dashboard. When I let off, it was over a 1/4 mile before the needle came back up. It registered 100mph and was suprisingly accurate.

Try slowing that pig down with 4-wheel drum brakes. HAHAH

You think 142 in a 2001 Acura is scary?

Try doing 75 in a 1997 Jeep Wrangler...

140 and some change in my old modded eclipse
93 in a xj i used to drive for work from what the cop tells me.
50-60 on my dirt bike on some sketchy terrain got a nice scare from that choice.
