congrats, your a ****ing tard. An R1, even an 05 is very capable of 175-185 stock. Just changing your rear sprocket will net you 4mph, and if your going down a slight slope you wouldnt need that. Next in your failures at life, I personaly watched Velasco dyno a busa at 301 horsepower. Yes, 301. It had so much ****ing power its smoked the wheel right off the drum. It took multiple runs to get the drum spinning fast enough to get an actual reading. You dont know what anyone has done to their bike so shut the **** up. Oh yeah, only ricer boy fags call it NOS, its NO2 or Nitrous oxide. Next time pull your head from your *** before you post.

x2. Ive had my 02 R1 up to 172 and it still had 2500 RPMs left to go before redline. The factory specs on it were 186, so I dont know where that guy was getting his info.

When I was 6 years old I rode a tonka dump truck down a hill at 2.3MPH and was cut off by a barbie motorhome. I had major roadrash from that.

A few years ago I had a 1970 Dodge Charger with a 440, would run the quarter 12.4 @ 119 mph. Before I changed the rear gears to 3.55 for drag racing it had 2.76. Took 4 of my friends for a ride one day and buried the speedometer, which went to 160. Felt like the front of the car was fixing to lift off. 160+ in a 30 year old car is scary.

120 MPH plus is not hard to do or even unsafe when:

Driving a late model performance sedan that is properly maintained.
Driven by a competent and alert driver.
Driven on a road that is conducive to traveling at such speed.
Driven under road conditions that are conducive to traveling at such speed.

My wife's 4-cylinder Honda Accord drives real nice at 120 plus MPH. It is nothing for a higher end performance sedan to travel at 140 MPH and do so effortlessly. It is only the driver and the road conditions that may not be up to the task.
