Ummm that was me on the back of a Busa doing 187...didn't see you hanging on for dear life back there with me, so keep your ignorant comments to yourself. Are you actually trying to say that a Hayabusa 1300 isn't capable of doing 187...now that is funny, up until the new kawasaki came out, whihc is only slightly faster, it was the fastest production bike out there, and his was moded very well...

I've done 136 in a BMW with a few performance upgrades, but unfortunately the computer was never chipped, so the electronic limiter stopped us at 136.

The `Busa 1300R goes over 200MPH in STOCK form.....

It was specifically built to break the 200MPH barrier.

Exactly...so 187 on a well modified busa with a rider is not only very possible but pretty likely with a nut behind the bars. I love how people like to spout off what they don't know about.

the fastest ive gone was around the 140 mark...it was in a Lexus GS400...still had plenty of room, but honestly, i got scared..i just thought about what would happen of a deer just all of a sudden came jumping out of the feild next to me......the speedo' on that car went to 160, but i believe could probably surpass that

'Busa can cruise the interstate in 1st gear. Scariest accelerating bike I've ever ridden.

Been 160'ish on a bike wearing sunglasses, tshirt and a baseball cap for protection. Not super smart when you're 20.

From 0-60 the limiting factor on most sportsbikes these days is keeping the front wheel on the ground

Even my SV1000S will do it in 3 seconds or so if I can stop it from pulling a wheelie (accelerating or braking much faster than around 2.5s is impossible on anything without aerodynamic downforce or some ridiculously sticky tires).

I've gone down on asphalt twice at only 30-40 mph, road tore through 3-4mm of heavy leather (Alpinestars jacket) like a grinding wheel, I refuse to ride in anything less than full coverage

... oh and the Busa (and most other litre I4 machines) are electronically limited to 186mph, horsepower-wise pretty much all of them are capable of breaking the double ton and can be easily modified (TRE - tricks the bike's computer into thinking it's not in top gear) to do so.

Hahaha OMG! That figures!

I broke 163mph with much more room to go, but no balls to do so.

I guess I'm boring. Only hit 125 in my dads Maxima, and probably no more than 100 in my XJ. However at that speed I am more concerned at looking straight ahead rather than how fast I'm going.
