ZJ only goes up to 105. Was riding shotgun in my brother's XJ doing 99 on the Autobahn.

I think the fastest I have driven is just over 120 in a SAAB 9-3 (slightly tuned). For the most part our roads here just aren't safe enough to go over 90 on. LOL. Too many Potholes and cement cracks!

129 in a VW Jetta TDI. Its very stable at those speeds, but the models for over here are limited to that I believe.

118 mph on my older Polaris XCR 700 snowmobile down the Magpie River on Ontario.

This past winter, 115 in my new(er) Polaris XCSP Edge-X 700 snowmobile down the stretch of trail between Frederic and Grayling that runs along I-75.

Hot damn I love that adrenaline rush!

Luckily, the cop who pulled me over took pity on my because I had a Virginia Tech sweatshirt on and his son happened to go there too. I ended up with a ticket for 44 in a 35, mailed them a check for $150 or something like that and didn't even get any points.

Back to the topic of the thread, the fastest I've ever driven was somewhere over 120 (don't know exactly how much more because thats where the speedo stopped) in my 1994 Honda Civic. Other than the wind noise, it didn't even feel too scary and the car handled it like a champ!

I ain't reading the whole thread, but this post had me rolling.

Go Mountaineers!

Any of you posting here read the article from England. They ticketed a fellow based on his posted video/text bragging about his speeding on YouTube. Bragging about how fast you went on public forum might not be the smartest thing ever.

65MPH in a 1977 Maxim Class 2 Pumper. Let me tell you...I thought we were doing 150. The new(er) 96 Pierce engines we have ride better and smoother than that old girl. She still holds her own tho.

Been to 115 in my 92 Accord. Had my old boss's 99 Cobra with 650hp up to 95 on a side road...that was only 3 gears! I only slowed cuz I ran out of road. I couldnt believe it could keep goin.

Don't let all the people fool you, with the "on a bike I have gone this fast...." For example the 2005 R1 @ 189 Bull Sh!t unless you turbo charged it and put on some NOS and changed the sprockets for top end speed. And anyone who says they went almost 190 on the back of a busa is lying.
