I used to hit 110-120 regularly in my BMW on the way to work. That's partially the reason why I got rid of it. Been 9:60 @ 133 mph in our track car (87 GN) and 165 mph in a 93 Vette on the NJ Turnpike back when I was young and dumb.

I had the speedo pointing straight down on my '95 XJ once...I have no idea how fast that is. Some dude in a mercury cougar was throwing fireworks out his sunroof, and one went off right next to my tire, so I took off after him.

I've gone 110 in a Mercury Sable wagon. I wasn't driving, my friend's dad thought it would be a good idea to 'test the performance' of it.

Otherwise about 130 in a Vette.

120 in a 74 Ford Maverick - that was my first taste of Death Wobble. First and last time I broke 100. That's scary speed.

Lets see...180something in a decently built LS1 TA. That was fun.

Honorable mentions:
A buddy's 1G Eclipse - 145 or so
My 3G Eclipse I had - 150pegged, still pulling
My 1G Talon - 125 before I took it apart
My POS Beretta - 115 Destroyed my buddy's Tiburon. That was funny. Still proved nothing. It's a Beretta.

You couldn't see their expressions if they were going 40 and you were 116.
