I still have that track!!! The Empire 1000!!! It's in boxes in my grandmother's basement. I'm 43 years old and I can still smell the hot plastic after an afternoon of racing on that thing. Every kid in a 10 mile radius would show up at my house on Saturday afternoon with their own slot car ready to race. I've been wanting to go get it to set it up for my kids, but my grandmother lives 5 hours away and has turned into one of those old crazy cat ladies. We don't visit much. Thank you for posting that. I just traveled back in time for a few minutes.
