In NJ for work . .

Can't even buy a six pack of beer in a gas station. Really? I thought this was America.

Where I live, you can buy beer "to go" in gas stations. They have beer on tap, fill up a .5 to 1 gallon jug and off you go.

Ummm I don't mind that they don't associate beer and gasoline. People in New Jorkilvania can't drive sober on a bright sunny day.
I moved away a while ago but we used to get beer at the late night diner/bar. The liquor stores were cheaper but the diners stayed open and sold up to midnight.

Yeah, I found a liquor store from a nice associate at the gas station. GTG.

On a side not, got to see where the Hindenburg bought the farm. That was pretty cool.

No liquor at the pumps? It's even worse in PA.

Haha, nah. Alabama is one of those states where the spirits are heavily regulated by he government. The cheapest place to buy liquor is at An ABC store, which is government run. The libertarian in me hates buying stuff there, but it is cheaper than any privately owned liquor store.

Got to check out Independence Hall before my flight out of Philly, that was really cool

One may not be able to buy beer at a gas station in PA (anymore)…but PA does have "Drive Through" beer distributers.

Not quite sure if that means they have more ingenuity or more stupidity…I only report it.

The state law says you can sell single bottles if you have a "deli" attached or something like that. Wegmans on the big end as an example. If your familiar with the roosevelt blvd there is a small little place near cottman that sells bottles and has something resembling a deli, however, I don't know if you can get anything to eat from it. I know the blue laws are soon to change.
