I forgot to mention th 7-14 days is a panama schedule, meaning I work 2 off 2, work 3 (weekend), off 2, work 2 off 3 (weekend)

So I basically have every other weekend off, and I never work more than 2 days during the week. My schedule never changes, so I know when I will work for years to come. Best thing about it is, I was hired for this specific position so even if my boss says I need to go to day shift, I can tell him to suck it, it's in my contract

He would literally have to fire me and rehire me in order to make me work days. Then he would have to try and find someone to fill my old spot, which took them 4 months to find me, so I think I'm pretty safe (knock on wood). clearing 6 figures a year anit half bad either

I can imagine its an awesome schedule when you have kids, your asleep while they are at school, you are just getting up when they get back from school(thus giving you all afternoon to spend with them if you choose), then you leave for work while they are asleep.

Actually I work 5pm to 5am, but I do see them before I go to work on those days. I get so much off time though that I get to spend plenty of time with them then. The summer is a little different, I'll get less sleep and go to the pool around noon for a few hours...it's a rough life
