Night Vision Goggles

What should I expect to pay for a set of used PVS-7D NVG's? I have a chance to pick up a set for about $1000 is that a pretty good deal? Thanks

Peripheral? Wow... sweet. I've no idea what kind I used on the boat, but they had one inlet and two separate eye pieces. Had a pretty wide vision range, but nothing "peripheral."

And as far as I know, the ones we used were around 15k each, so I'd make a guess and say you're getting a pretty good deal

I'd call Bragg's IG and let him know that some of his NVGs are up for sale. If his investigation clears them, and you really want some PVS-7s, jump on it. I wasn't a fan of the 7s personally. I had an easier time with my bare eyes. The only time I used them was when we were doing a site recon or surveillance.

I like the "military/law enforcemant only" bit. Like civilians don't have a right to see in the dark.

Im about 99% certain that these arent stolen but even if they were why would I call up the IG and have them investigate one of my friends?

If he's a friend, he wouldn't be charging you $1k for a crappy pair of 7Ds.
