Night Owl Night Vision?

Does anyone here have any experience with Night Owl night vision monocular or any other brand night vision equipment. I'm looking for an inexpensive night vision devise for around $150 or so.

Gen I intensifiers suck. You can't touch "decent" image intensifiers for less that a couple grand. Trust me, you'll be disappointed with the quality of it, just spend the $150 on a good flashlight.

I got the digital NV device from walmart for about $150.....It sucked. Yeah, you could see in the dark, but the digital display in the back lit up your face and completely took away your natural night vision....

X3, dont waste your money. I bought a Gen 1 monocular, it pretty well sucks. I leave it in our camper now, it does "ok" in the campgounds at night snooping on other campers , but out where it's really dark it sux.

I've been eyeing some Gen 3+ rifle scopes....I just cant bring myself to shell out 3k +.....yet!
