New York Laws? 350 conversion

Before I go for the bucks to add some horses I was wondering if anyone knows what the emissions laws in New York are. Or where I can find them. I have a '90 YJ and want to put in a '79 chevy 350 out of a blazer. Really would like to do it legal.

I wouldn't get my hopes up in NY

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Call up your local DMV and ask them if you can, and what the restrictions/limits are.

THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTIONS. I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO TRY TO FIND SOMEONE IN N.Y.S.D.M.V. THAT MIGHT HAVE A CLUE.
