new transfer case

So, have any of you cracked open the latest edition (August) of 4Wheel & Off-Road?
There's a small articile about a new transfer case. It has three speeds. That's right! 1:1 high, 3.05:1 medium low, 5.44:1 Very Low! It's says it's a inch longer then the Dana 300 and a little heavier, 140 lbs. It's swings both ways for those YJ and TJ guys. Plus it's the 6 bolt circle patten so it will fit almost anything from a Dana 300 and newer transfer case.
It says it will be available in August. The rag says they'll do a write up on it when it comes out, but for now www.stak4x4.com will have to do.

80' CJ7, 360 Howell Injected, 3" single exhaust, NP435 4spd, Dana 300 AA clocking ring, Currie twin stick, Tera-Low 4 -1 kit, Dana 44 front, cut 10" wider to 63", 4.10 gears, ARB, Yukon axles and Super H/D u-joints, Currie Dana 44 rear, cut wider to 60 1/2", 4.10 gears, ARB 35 spline, Currie 35 spline axle shafts, 2 1/2" x 11" Ford drum brakes, CJ-SOA conversion, Tom Woods F & R drive shafts, Warn 9500i winch, 6 point cage, Homemade F&R bumpers and tire carrier, 1" body, Pro Comp supension Kit, 12.5x35x15 BFG's, 15x10 OMF beadlocks, Body armor, OBA.

that thing is sweet!
i have not had the opertunity to see one first hand, but have read a lot about it.
if i didnt already have an atlas in my jeep, i'd be all over that one.
great concept. i like this idea much better than the klune.

1:1 is the ratio that is used when in 2wd HI or 4wd HI except in 4HI the front tires recieve power as well.

There has been word out on this for many months actually.

2800 does seem like alot until you look at how much a double t-case setup or an atlas/klune combo would be.
