I fail to see what any of this has to do with the historical uniqueness and importance of New Orleans' music, art, food and culture.

What city in America DOESNT have music, art, food and culture? Why do you think NO is so special in this regard anyway? Those things arent what makes a city...they are cool..but they dont define a whole city so quit harping on it already.

Sorry pal. Pick up a history book. Look up New Orleans.
Your "opinion" is about 1/3 informed as to what NOLA is about.

OH MY WORD. Are you serious? Did you type that? There's not a city on earth that is unique as NOLA in those things. Those things ABSOLUTELY MAKE THAT CITY.

I'm all for different opinions, but if you don't know why NOLA's great, there's no way to tell you.

My opinion that it sucks is based on people like you...keep it up, you're making great waves here! I dont think anyone disagrees that it is rich in culture..too bad it's not enough to make up for the asshats that live there now.

The unique culture defines NOLA, not a tragedy and mess that will pass with time.

No...the culture AND the people define it...nobody is talking bad about NO just because it was hit by a hurricane.
