Well I'm glad you are enjoying your newest insurance policy investment.

I'm still looking at Smith and Wesson MP .40's. It's down to the XD .40 and the MP .40 now. Now that I've shot the XD I can't wait to compare it to the MP to make my final decision.

SW in general or specifically the MP? I've read a lot of reviews on the MP and jams have not been a problem. Stove pipes or what?

I have an xd9 sub compact and I love it. xd9 service is what I carry at work. Never had a problem with either and I havwe shot thousands of rounds through them. I like the m&p but havent shot one enough to take it over the xd.

What made you decide to get the 5" model?

Well I'm gonna try out my buddies MP 9 before I decide between the two. I'm not a huge Glock fan because they don't fit my hand at all, the XD was a little better, hopefully the MP fits well...but performance is a number one concern. Only time will tell.

I, not too long ago, got a glock 21 45 acp....Love it.Fits in myhand good and from about 50 or so feet, i can keep about a 5" pattern or so. Only complaint is that it costs me about 6 bucks a mag to shoot. 13 round mag at $.50 a shell.
