Just my opinion.
This is not far off, I can assure you.

This is a good thread! I have been looking into this, and considering the Netflix option.
I'm glad to hear so amny positive reviews.

I would like to see more in their library of BlueRay videos.
It is a slim selections compared to my local 99cent video rental place.

I suck at returning them on time, si I always get screwed on late fees.
NetFlix would be cheaper

What is all of this talk of Savvily designed products?

Netflix is great! I'm a charter member from waaay back when they started, and I'm grandfathered in on a price plan that they don't even offer anymore. I did the math once and figured my family spent about $1.19 per movie that we "rented" from them. Not a bad deal at all considering they're delivered right to my house! The addition of streaming made the deal even better! Netflix rocks!

One thing is it is very dependent on your ISP. My service is terrible and loves to throttle me down so in the first 15 minutes of watching the picture goes to crap.

I just heard on that they are thinking about putting fees on their website, so it might not stay free.

but whatever, it's their company.

I stream Netflix via my PS3. I've watched all the really good movies though and they rarely add new ones that are worth watching. Wife watched about 9 days worth of Hero's lately though.

I have recently found that we have more or less watched everything "watchable" that is available via streaming too. We're going to have to start getting DVDs again.

I love streaming Netflix...
We just finally got a new Sony Bravia with working (operative word) HDMI input and have watched almost an average of one movie a day off Netflix. LOL!!!
