couldnt agree more. theres always a positive and negative to everything, no matter what it is. and theres always going to be 2 sides worth arguing. i did here he got them legally, so i wasnt really using him as an example with that comment, just stating it.

but again, great points. i just pointed out my opinion on it

Five pages and none of this has anyhting to do with the 2nd ammendment. We have the right to keep and bear arms. Our courts have established that. The 2nd ammendment is not on trial here nor should it be. Give it a break people

The best offense in a deadly situation is not the type of weapon you have, but the lump three feet above your ***. Knowing how to difuse a could be deadly situation without the use of deadly force is something that should be trained to all CCW carriers.

I agree that the goverment and law enforcement cannot protect us........on an individual level. They can, on a universal level, protect legal law-abiding gun carrying citizens if it was a priority. Unfortunalty it is not a priority.

Gun control should be on the federal level. Each state having its own laws is getting confusing.

I tend to disagree, as then more of the commie states would have a say in it and the ******* politicians would probably listen to them, therefore affecting us non-commie states.

Agreed. I think we can all agree on that. We have been debating more about the CCW permit then the second amendment. If that is taken away then a coup is not far behind.

I understand that part of the argument. But....Right now somebody can legally obtain a pistol in my area, then move to Chicago (within the city limits), and be arrested for having a pistol. Pistols are illegal to have inside of Chicago city limits. The gangs have them, but not the legal binding citizens. My point is, is that we need to have universal rules. Chicago somehow, someway has gotten around the second amendment. They argue that because shotguns and rifles are ok you can still bear arms.

you say it yourself. Possessing firearms is not the issue, but having enough responsible and properly trained citizens is.

Simply putting more firearms out there will do no good, however with proper training and regulations it will. Many people do not carry because they are not comfortable, it would be ludicrous to arm someone who is ignorant in weapons practice.

I don't see, by your girly sentiment, how you've made it Alabama. I feel sorry for you.

Stating facts about gun possession is now considered girly? Whatever you say, tough guy.

Yeah, and you know who will be dead? The criminals most of the time. That's where they should all be! Dead in the streets. Quit whining.
