Need your opinions
I got some nice 6" driving/trail lights for a good price (free), and I'd like your opinion on placement. I photoshopped a couple of photos to help me/you decide what you like better. (placing them on a lightbar on the roof is not an option, I park in a parking garage, and I have less than 1" clearance as it is)
So... center? Or corners? ![]() ![]()

The second pic looks better IMO, but if you ever get tow hooks, kiss those lights goodbye.

woops, lol! I forgot all about my hooks. That is an older pic, before I got my tow hooks. I guess its center or nothing now. Lol, thanks for bringing that up! I guess I 'could' put them farther to the corners, but if I ever get on an odd angle and need to be tugged out, it would get busted off.
I guess my tow hooks made my decision for me, to the center they go. (until when/if I get a winch) |

Those photochop lights look a lot bigger than 6". I fit my 6" KCs in the outer locations without any problems with the tow hooks. Shouldn't be any different for the YJ.

Well, despite everyone liking the outer corners better, I went against you all! The main reason I did this was simply because I wheel quite a bit, and I use my tow hooks lots. I don't want to bust any lights off. I went ahead and attached them, and here is the final product sans photochopping:
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't think they turned out too bad. I may even get two smaller rectangular lights and put them where jdlawhon has his. |

like I said. They will move once again when/if I get a winch. I usually go wheeling with many people in our club, so I don't really need one for now.
