Need help writing paper about Hitler!

Ok so I am writing my final paper for my fundamentals of human communications class and my particular topic is based on Hitler. I hate saying this but i am completely ignorant regarding what he has done as a leader, i know about the holocaust and what not but i need to know how he got into power, how Germany's standing at the time lead to him being elected into power and what not... The paper is based on leadership styles and its been subdivided into six people.

Please! If anyone has any interesting stories or facts or even a paper i can read to help me get this going... The actual paper is 15 Percent of the grade which is no biggie but the actual presentation is 30% of my final grade!

Please and thank you to all that help!

why don't you just go ahead and give him all the information he needs. having BLS33 on his works cited page will look a whole lot better than an actual book, you know, by an author and all that.

QFE

Read this my Junior year. I'd highly suggest it.

Interesting side story, we had to do a report on people involved in WWII. I wound up as Hitler and we got extra points for having visuals to match our person/report. I wound up dressing up as Hitler and stood in front of a Nazi Flag (borrow from my Grandfather, he fought in WWII) and just yelled at the class in German for like 5 minutes lol.

also, feel free to PM me if you need any extra help. I've always had a pretty big fascination with WWII Germany and Nazism. I don't believe in any of that crap but I've always enjoyed studying it since I was in like 7th grade.

I watched a movie on TV a while back called Hitler: The Rise of Evil.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0346293/

Not sure how historically accurate it is or where you might find a copy of it, but if you're not into reading it might be a good watch for you. I really enjoyed it.

make sure you mention the assassination attempts, read a book, Mien Kampf is a good place to start since Hitler wrote it, and don't let this project turn into another "American History X"

an interesting angle would be how he never 'won' an election. when his party got ~230 seats in congress, short of the ~600 majority needed, he 'had' Hindenberg appoint him as chancellor
