i feel no sympathy for you. if you were truly "struggling" then you would not be going to a college that cost 35k a year, you are probably also going to a private school based on how much you are paying. again i have no sympathy for you.

get over yourself. Others here do the same thing you do and don't whine.

wow! really! 6 pages...why dont you go down to the library, away from the distractions, sit down for an hour or two and crank that paper out. just yesterday I turned in a 40 page engineering project. your in college now. what I've found is that general homework is 1-3 pages typed, most essays are 5-10 pages, and "hard" assignment are the ones that require 20+ hours at the library and are the ones you can compain about being stressed over.

BTW I can promise you that nobody on here wants to hear "wahhh my school costs 400 billion a year, so help me". I'm sure you've heard this before but let me tell ya again, an education is what you make it. you attend a great school so don't screw it up.

Yeah sorry, I was too busy going to college, starting a business, and enjoying a hobby. No one else in the world has ever put themselves through college. Come back when you are six figures in debt/invested.

I do feel tough, thanks kid.

Holy ****...come on people, "Toates89" was just asking for some helpful insight..nothing wrong with that. Yeah, it's true that 6 pages is pretty easy/short for a college paper, but personally, the biggest paper my college has had me write was a 9 page essay on a topic of my choice. I chose to write about Biofuel, and the corn farming industry.

Just give "Toates89" a break. Maybe he thinks it's a tough topic to discuss.

thank you very much, i am not saying wow i am going to a expensive school that wasnt the point. the point is that i am paying for it and being responsible for my own life. i am not saying that i cant write a 6 page paper on a topic that intrests me or something that i relates to me. but right now imperialism and culture and whether truth is true or not, is not on my mind 24 hours.

Just out of curiosity, toates89, is the "Shift" button on your keyboard broken, or is it just too difficult to use?

You can complain... because you aren't a tool.

That was supposed to be an example, not a policy.

I do 6-page papers on my lunch breaks. Welcome to the real world, it's going to be a lot different than your easy-A high-school economics class.

Read the original post - in fact, here:

a. we don't like ultimatums

b. we don't like to "help enough." I don't think anyone's saying we wouldn't discuss the topic (assuming we have knowledge of the extremely specific topic he's picked), we just aren't going to do his work for him

c. if he can't spell correctly, why would we want him using our ideas in an incoherant essay on Neitzsche?

I was just asking, based upon the subject matter of your 10 page paper.
