Need help from a computer guy

Or anyone who knows how adobe reader works.

I have a large 4000+ pages document in PDF form
I want to just pick out 5-6 pages from that document and save seperatly.
For emailing those pages to some friends who needs them.

I have looked everywhere when i have that document open but i cant find it.
How do i do it, or can it even be done?

I have Adobe reader XI

i think you need an editor, not a reader. adobe gives away reader to view pdf's, but you cant edit them in that.

you could attempt to print the doc, then when it asks what printer, select a pdf. then choose what pages you want

Especially if the 5-6 pages you're looking to share are concurrent, I would install a PDF printer (cutePDF as an example) and use that to print the few pages you're interested in as a separate PDF.

You could also take screen grabs of the pages you need and email them that way

Free download PDFCreator. Print from adobe Reader to PdfCreator. Specific pages only and save location of your choice. This will create a new PDF of only what you wanted. Now you can email to your friend just those few pages.

if you have a smart phone there are several PDF editors as cheap as 99c I use them all the time to rip PDF documents.
