I like those little Golfs. I'd love to get an extra car that gets some good mileage as my commute is gonna be even longer before too long. However, whats with the seats in the GTI? The pattern almost looks like they are covered with flannel.

Looks like the old Honda Civics that were short like that. Really girly looking cars.

I'm right there with you. My Jeep isnt dead, but it hadn't moved in the last 2+ weeks, until I got a parking ticket on Friday and had to move it. It's paid for, so I can't justify getting rid of it. Too much skin and blood on the belly of that thing to give up now. When finances come back around, I'll pick up where I left off.

Blaine, I'll trade you the 29MPG for the 9.6 on my truck

It's fast, quick, and agile... everything my Jeep was NOT.

OK on another note... I will be at GSMW and I am looking forward to seeing some of you guys again and meeting more of you! To keep it somewhat technical here is a pic of a fond memory of my WJ!

That's not a Fahrenheit edition GTI is it? I hate you so damn bad! I wanted a VW, but the dealer here only had the damn 2.5Ls and I didn't want a 5 cylinder, I either wanted a 1.9L TDI or 2.0T. Not to mention, no Rabbit TDIs yet. They called me back 2 weeks after I bought my caliber (after being on their waiting list for a TDI for 8 months and told me they had a TDI Jetta in.)
