My new Jeep tent! PIC!

Here is a pic of my new tent. It was $130 from Sams Club. We set it up for the first time in my back yard. It is 15 feet by 12 feet and 7 feet tall. Oh and its actually a Jeep brand tent. Jeep logo's are everywhere.

I must resist the impulse to buy. That's very coincidental since I just talked to my roomate about planning a camping trip.

Also, does it have a rain fly?

Pfff, that's a Mall Crawler tent. That's what you'd use to wait in line to see Star Wars Ep. 3.

j/k that's pretty cool man. I might check those out, I've been in the market for a new tent ever since my last one ripped apart in the wind.

94 Cherokee Sport 4wd (converted from 2wd), AW4, NP231 w/SYE, 6" bastard lift, RC drop brackets, IRO trackbar, 33x12.5 Goodyear MTRs, HDoffroad subframe connectors, prerunner front bumper, homebrew rear bumper, flowmaster 40, 96 booster swap., upgraded headlight harness, 4.56 gears (finally!!!)

It does have a top to keep the rain out but I didnt put it on. It has a built in ventilation system and an extra wall you can put in...kinda pointless though since its so thin. Technically can be a 3 room tent. Its completely made of microfiber so the material is tough as hell. Still going to get a nice tarp to put under it when its set up in the dirt and rocks though. It has a 3 level hanging shelf and a few cup holders that go in the corners also. Bad part is that it took me an hour to set up the first time. Hard as hell and had to have my wife hold up the center from the inside just so I could put half of the bars on. But...its made like a Jeep...tough as nails.

I bought that tent from Sam's too. Just in a different color. It's a great tent. Btw, it took us about an hour in the dark to set it up the first time. But now that we've done it a few times we can get it up in about 15 mins. Usually we only have a problem when it comes time to fold the tent and fit it back in that darn bag.

Pffft. you dont need no stinking tents. My idea of a tent is a tarp on the ground with a sleeping bag. If it rains, roll the tarp onto you. Worked pretty well in Boy Scouts for about 4 years.

you know whats better..take two tarps one for laying on the ground and the other well thats later

lay it down between two trees, and tie a industral strength rope between the two trees and then hang the other tarp over it....and badda bing you have your self a cheap mans tent, get a spray can of white paint and spray paint JEEP if you want..i think it would look cool
