My new *cheap* truggy --pix inside--

Well, after some fierce debating I decided to pull the trigger on this sucker for $300 dollars. Im not really in a position to spend that kind of money, but F it!

1983 Hard body nissan.
472k on the ODO!
No word on either a replaced/rebuild engine. But it runs like a raped ape
6'' Body lift
35x14.5 boggers on 15x8 rims

Anyways, here we go. Day of pickup

Where it is right now, and some extra shots.

Stashed in the corner for right now

Now........................ whats awesome about this. It has a divorced transfercase. Not many vehicles had this. Well, so did my Travelall. Seen here parting out

Not worth keeping, so we ripped off the body because it was just a few bolts. Salvaged the body lift to use on the Nissan (only a 3'')

Anyways, back to it.... my Travelall had a blown motor and almost completely unusable tranny. Not worth fixing in any way shape or form. So, it also came with a divorced NP205 transfercase

both drivelines (will need to get the tranny to xfer case made)

Corp 14 rear and D44 front *chevy stuff*

No name alloy wheels and 38x15.5 DickCepek tires

I don't know when the swap will happen, but the plan is in the works.

For now though, I dont have a picture but I have some 32'' BFG ATs that will go on it, when I reduce it to a 3'' body lift. The nissan has no suspesion lift of gearing, so with the current setup it wont drive unless its in 4 low lol

Wait... so you're gonna swap over the 44/14bolt combo and NP205 from the travelall to the truggy? Then only run 32's?????

That truggy needs 38's

EDIT: I also expect to see said Nissan in moab next summer.

No no no... sorry if I explained that funny.

RIGHT NOW I am going to lower it with the 3'' legit body lift and run it with 32s with the 3.07 or 3.55 gears it as on the stock 4cyl.

When I do the 14bolt/44 swap on it, it will get the 38s!

That's not a hardbody. That's the previous model to the hardbody, I do like it though!

The "hardbody" actually Nissan D21 Series was from 1986.5-97... Before that it was just a pickup, or technically the Datsun 720... I had an 88 SEV6 that I wish I had more pics of before I totalled her...

and the Truggy looks like tons of fun...

I would forget about the truggy. That 4 door scout/early bronco is freakin awesome. I would build that up. Build a motor and trans and build tubedoors and your rdy to go.

Well, building international stuff is too damn expensive. Its my third one, and I need to get out of that brand.

Just to costly. Nissan should be relatively cheap to maintain.

I have to ask. What is up with what looks like an exhaust pipe coming up from the pass floor?
