She was sitting outside on our door frame just chillin'. That's a 4x4 that she's sitting next to.
Damn, it looked a lot better in it's full 6 MP glory. This picture has been shrunk down to about 1/4 of it's original size, and because of it, the spider is about 1/4 of the size it is in real life.

It's a female Wolf spider. They actually get about twice that big. I found one in my parents' garage a few summers back that was eating a little field mouse.

What do you kill something like that with? I'm assuming a tissue wont work. I know, I know, spiders are good because they eat bad things. I dont give a damn. If it's near my house when I'm going to sleep, it dies. I dont mind spiders, but if I can't keep an eye on them(ie: sleeping) they die.

The North Face Basecamp Flip Flop...incredibly comfortable after a day of hiking. Soft, supple footbed; rugged, spider-puddle creating sole. Easy removal for reaching spiders on walls or celilings.

my mom reached for something on a shelf in her garage once and had a wolf spider run over her hand... you've never seen a "tough" grown woman jump around and scream like that
she threw another fit when all I did was catch it in a bucket and let it go out in the woods

That's a Banana Spider, right?
I had one of those living under my bed in Taiwan (shiver). Saw them all over. They really creep me out!
