When companies beat the tar out of suppliers for price, this is most often the result. They may have had other management issues but I'm going to guess that if you can't make a profit you'll go belly up. Maybe they can go to the next frontier of indentured servitude, India, for parts.

Maybe the big shots that bought Chrysler, Cerebrus, can work the supplier lines. See how long they last actually WORKING for a living.

The 'big shots' at Cerebrus (Technologies?) do not own/control Chrysler.
On the other hand, if Cerberus Capital Management hadn't provided the funding to keep Chrylser from going bankrupt there might be even fewer or no Wranglers coming off the assembly line. I don't think John Snow or Steve Feinberg need to prove their work ethic. Some people work successfully with their hands, others with their heads. Even among the talented not all ventures are successful. Then again, Chrysler management is not famous for making great business decisions. They were making business decisions long before Cerberus provided them with the capital to stay afloat.
