Here is one that I heard quite often in the Army:

"You ****ing ****, you need to ****ing pull your *** ****ed head out of your *********ing ***.

It's highly overrated, especially when you get punched in the chest shortly afterwards and can't breathe for 10 minutes. Today's army is much nicer though, they probably can't even say ***, ****, **** or ********** without disciplinary action.

Growing wealth is like growing trees. Your income is like acorns. You can eat your acorns/seeds now (spend on consumer goods) or eat less today to grow trees and more acorns tomorrow. It is your choice. You cannot grow many trees if you consume all the seeds.

Some people fund a high status lifestyle today and forego being wealthy tomorrow. They play the role of "already being wealthy". But as long as they continue to bolster this image with hyper spending, they will always be just like chauffeur drivers with only a dream. A dream does not make one financially secure.

"I will stomp on all those who oppose me. The stomping shall be swift. The stomping shall be painful, and I will show no mercy in all of my stomping."
Off of some postcard a friend sent me.

when life gives you lemons, kick life in the nuts, sweep his legs out and plant your knee right on life's throat. Then take those lemons and squeeze them right into life's whiney little eyes until life cries like a ***** and begs you to let up already

2 of my favorites

There are only two kinds of people that understand Marines: Marines and the enemy. Everyone else has a second-hand opinion.

Gen. William Thornson, U.S. Army

The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!

Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady of the United States, 1945

People sleep peacably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on thier behalf.
