Fun in a while, but I know down around my area, it's typically only the modded rigs that wave. I try to wave to just about every Jeep I see, but I'll be honest... a lot of the Grand Cherokee's tend to get overlooked for the same reason you said- most are driven by soccer moms that wonder what in the hell you're waving at them for. If you ever see me around though, you know I'll wave! ![]() __________________ 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0L 5sp 4" Pro Crap lift, 1.25" JKS BL, 1" Brown Dog MML, 35 Maxxis Bighorns, Lock-Right up front & Detroit out back, Super 35, Jeeperman front bumper, Warn XD9000i, Raingler nets, homemade discos, Poison Spyder cage 1995 Jeep Cherokee Country 4.0L, auto, 4" mix & match lift on 33's... Super Duper Guy | Hey guess what? Waving doesn't make you a better Jeeper than anyone else. So they don't wave. Big whoop. I don't drive a Jeep for the satisfaction of a wave from others. While nice, it is just a wave. This sounds like I am bitter and stuff. I am not, but I just don't understand why people care so much about it. I wave to hot chicks all the time. They never, ok hardly ever, wave back. I am not getting into a hissy over it. __________________ Xavier basketball. Registered User | Yeah I've spent some time in Ft. Collins, and I got some waves in the YJ. Maybe it's the fairly normal looking cherokee that's working against you. How many people are expecting a soccer mom jeep wave? As for no waves in the TJ....I dunno. Are you flipping them off or waving? __________________ It's too bad stupidity isn't painful "Landrover.....are you being a smart-***...cause I really can't tell." - Btwngreengray "LandRover just became my favourite." -Rob99 "I voted for LandRover..." -martinsburgjeep "You ********* racist" -WarEagle "I don't want to hijack this thread but there is quite a bit of proof of large apes in the US." -MarkoPo |

I guess there are just so many Jeeps running around that maybe only the mods wave back No biggie though, it was just cool seeing them all.__________________ 2005 Red TJ 6 Cyl 4.0L Manual Transmission, D44 Rear, 3.73 Gearing 32x11.5x15 BFG MTs on 15x8 Ravines w/ Spidertrax 1.25" Wheel Spacers 2" RE BB, 1" PA BL, 1" MORE MML AtoZ Rockers, Uniden/2ft Firestick(stolen), Nth Degree Oil Skid, JKS Discos 1986 Red CJ-7 Spring '89 - Spring '96, R.I.P. I always get a wave back when I drive my 911. __________________ YELLOW JEEP CLUB MEMBER #1979 Don't Mistake Motion For Action........ 1979 CJ7 1981 Porsche 911 SC |

Registered User | Put full size axles on, lift it, get big tires, get a sawzall, flat fender, comp cut, dovetail, custom cage, and then the waves will come. I have a limited budget so I don't worry about getting waves. |

I only live about 15miles from work. __________________ Garage Monkey, Wheeling Junkie 1993 YJ, 4.0, D44, ARBs, rear disk brakes, Rockcrusher covers, Hi-Steer, Sanden OBA SOA, Front 6" stretch, 2" Alcan springs, 37" Pitbull Rockers Custom cage, tube fenders, boat-sided rockers www.rockfrogs.org |
