Scratch the hell out of the wheels and tires. Then find the most expensive price on the internet and say thats what you paid for them. (Internet b/c you wouldn't have to show a receipt) When they give you the money to buy new tires and wheels you will have some profit left over.

When I called the manager He basically said he didn't have time to deal with me because they were trying to close up and go home.

To the comments about the original mounters tearing the bead, I say this:

The simple fact is that if you break a tire down and find something like that you tell the customer. By not doing so, the liability falls back on you. I have managed a Firestone, a Monroe, and an Econo-Lube and that crap doesn't fly. Not to mention the fresh rubber shreads all over my wheel. And then there's the fact that the beads were dry, so they obviously didn't use any lube on them.

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfuction or uninstall themselves at any time.

To the comments about the wheel not being so bad; yep, you're right. And I will do worse than that the first time I wheel it. Not the point, they were brand new and have never even seen a lug nut.

This happened to me at a tire place when I had my honda hatch. They scratched the ISH out of two of my four rotas that were brand new. I didnt notice it until I went home and washed it a couple days later. I went back and told them what was up but they just said blah blah blah you did it, we didnt do it and since I left their property without thorough inspection, they are not liable to me. I decided to suck it up and since my town is so small and has a lot of local business, word of mouth travels very fast on reputable business practices. Now they are out of business. Jokes on them!

Man I laughed my *** off when I read that 4 1/2s all around. Tire places are only looking out for themselves. I had work done on my 98 TJ and they left tools or something under the hood and slammed it and it dented the hood from the inside. I went back and couldn't get anyone to talk. I guess it's better to have a jeep with a few dings than a sports car. I think it adds character.

I hate when companies don't take liability for their work. If they mess something up, fix or replace it. Some places say,
"its the nature of the work, it happens. When you take your vehicle in for that type work you should understand the risks."

Somebody (who no longer works here) in the service department of my dealership forgot to put oil back in this ladies 2007 GMC Envoy (brand new, first oil change at about 4,900 miles). We discovered what the issue was when she towed it back in, she has had us by the nuts ever since. She is here 3-4 times/month *****ing about something, just absolutely milking it. You sure as **** better believe that we can't say "sorry, just the nature of the business!" We give her what she wants because one ****ing retard forgot that when changing oil, you have to actually put oil back into the motor.
