Marvel Mystery Oil Engine Restore

Do either of these products work. I would like to hear some of your personal experiences with either of these products.

Thanks
Tom

Engine restorer does work, if you count being 1 can short in the oil pan. Other than that I've never noticed any difference on the 3 engines I used it in. 1 truck, 1 mustang and 1 boat. If you're going to give it a shot, take a pressure reading on each one of your cylinders before and after and see if it improves. But if your pressure is within specs to start with, why bother with the restorer? But if you do get an improvement, email me so I can reconsider my opinions!

Marvel will clean the rust off anything, it acts like it desolves it. My Dad had a 38 cal
total rust, the gun shop wouldnt touch it.
I soaked in the stuff for a week and stated seeing red powder in the can, a good month later it was clean and slick.
I use Marvel on all nuts and bolts and since rarely use a tourch any more.
I do not think it belongs in an engine though. The oils produced today are for superior to what they had even Ten years ago.
Just keep changeing and it wont burn so much.

I have used Restore lots of time and I swear by it. I had an old clunker with a 2.5 4 banger I used to pull a boat with. It used alot of oil. I put a can of Restore in it and it stopped using oil. I also tried it in a Chevy 350 with worn valve guides. No differance in oil consumption. If you have a engine with over 100,000 miles on it I would recommend it (Restore). Heck its only 10 bucks for the V8 size.
