I would hate living the life and driving a lil whatchit' wondering how much damage that speedbump would do and how bad those fiberglass bumper ground FX thingy's would rub and split while going through a dip in the road...

If they get in my way THEY will be my speed bump:D

I would hate to be restricted to long flat roads:mad:

I just hope they dont pull up beside me at a red light with some smart remarks, especially if their windows are down and I have a big chew of SKOAL in my mouth, cause a stream will be flyin':D :D

I know, thats nasty. But so are those things they are driving!

You know what I think is funny?

Every now and then you see a rock in the middle of the freeway. You know, a little bigger than a softball? Well anyways, in my mind I imagine one of these slammed ricers right behind me as I let the rock pass under my rig...

Then I imagine what it does to his bumper and the whole underside of his car....

tee hee hee :D

r0fl..."Unless all you own is tank tops and your name is "Brad" or your a 19 year old hot chick you dont need a jeep." ok sweet guys im gonna go get a honda civic goto auto zone and buy some bolt on HP and then im gonna drop 200 pounds of audio equipment in the trunk and while im at it i think i'll add a wing on the back the size of texasand then i'll add pretty lights and a pretty paint job...that kid better not ever let me catch him wearing a tank top..and as far as that hot chick comment goes , i see twice as many girls driving civics than i ever seen driving jeeps..i bet his civic is low enough for my stock jeep to get on top of it :D..btw i hate ricers...i hang around a bunch of guys that race BMWs so i cant help but to trample on these guys...here is a quick kill story for you all :D

my friend took out his brothers m3 and took it on the road looking for a challenge...like 5 street races later (killed them all like he wasnt tryin) one attempted to do thericer fly by.....for those who dont know what that is, its when you have a street race and the ricer loses...he will speed past you after the race is over and he had since lost and put his flashers on. indicating a win...even though they lost.....so this civic attempted to do a ricer fly by and he didnt give him that...

when im older and richer...after the jeep isnt street legal  i will have a bimmer...so nice.

I don't like to encourage conflicts, I'm easy-going. In this case I would just say something like: "Everyone's entitled to their opinion" But if I wasn't myself, I would say something like "I own a Jeep vehicle. My Jeep vehicle is made in the USA. I was born in the USA. Great products like Jeep are what still keeps the made in American logo a powerful statement. But if you want to buy your car, and parts for your car from someplace half way around the world, thats great for you. I'd rather own something with a history of quality, reliability, and pride."
Forgive me if I sound too preachy;)

*No offense to you NevadaGuy, or anyone else who owns an import, just had to express my $0.02

My dad used to tell me the same thing, Poseidon. I agree but also disagree at the same time, if you weren't yourself, of course. :)

Although imports sold in the US generates dollars that in fact do leave the country to their over-seas manufacturers, these companies employ thousands upon thousands of American citizens to build them. Without them, there would be a lot of Americans doing nothing.

So, it may be a ricer, but chances are, it was 99.9% built by a group of hard working Americans. We also need to realize, US auto companies sell and mfg cars over-seas as well. Somewhere, some foreigner is saying the same thing not realizing that ie. Ford or GM is building cars there with citizens from their own country.
