Major craigslist scam ---- overpriced Firebird......

I was just searching Craigslist for ideas for a new car, and I clicked on this link regarding an '88 Firebird...... for $7900. I don't know if any of you guys are into these cars or not, but I am. Funny thing is, I have this same exact car sitting in my driveway right now. Albeit a better coat of paint and shaved door handles, mine is the same. I paid $1000 for it. This guy is trying to rip people off with the promise of a muscle car. With a 305 TBI under the hood .

I need to remember this post when I sell mine......

And it does not have the right engine in it either. 87 and up have center bolt valve covers, not the old style, and no TBI, only TPI for 87 and 88.

What size tire does a 17" rim take?

Yeah, my bad. It didn't make sense last night, but it's perfectly fine this morning (when the beer wore off).

Disregard my idiocy. It happens once in a while...

Read above. I'm just an idiot. I'm used to seeing "31" tires on 15" rims" and stuff like that. Disregard my potential drunken post.

It's a 305, not a 350. And I am willing to bet you everything I own that they made throttle body Firebirds in '88. I just replaced the head gaskets on mine, and like I said, it's throttle body.

Mine rides like total ****. Having said that, it also has the WS6 "performance suspension" but oddly enough when I bought it it did not have any front shocks. Just coils. Potholes are my worst enemy in that thing.

The reason for his high price tag is on the rear license plate
