develop a taste for good scotch. 99.9% chance she'll leave it alone. and if she does drink your scotch, theres a 99.9% chance that she swallows, which means theres a 99.9% chance that you'll forgive her.

This is why you must always have a hidden stash of Captain in some remote corner of the garage, and coke. And a bottle of Doctor frozen to the back wall of the freezer. But if you do end up in this situation, may God have mercy upon your soul.

Thats deep right there. I think that should be on a Hallmark card!

Alcohol is alcohol. I like girly drinks because they dont' taste like gasoline. A shot and a beer is one thing..but I can drink pina coladas all night long.

I say in a time of need, do what you have to do to get drunk, regardless if it's sangria, or even the above mentioned mouth wash.

Close the blinds, lock the doors, and drink up. I usually get off work after they stop selling beer so I know about desperation.

if there is a pitcher of sangria in the fridge and you have a significant other, you might want to check that she's not keeping it for whatever reason. girls can get pretty mad over that sorta stuff.
that being said, if you really need alcohol at that particular moment, go ahead and indulge. then just remember to always keep some backup stock on hand so you won't have to resort to such "desparate" measures.

in answer to the second part, yes i would drink any/all girly drinks. but then again, i am female so i do actually enjoy the large amounts of sugar and cute names and fruity tastes. guys just don't understand.

That cracked me up CRX.

To be honest though, when it boils down to the last drops of booze, I say go for whatever! I also must admit that I enjoy taking down a pina colada once in a while. If the environment is right then you're safe. Last one I had was the past weekend in Palm Springs- 115 degrees, sitting in a little cabana thingy by the pool at a resort watching milfs.

I drink Sky Vodka and Mountain dew. And I have a secret stash for the instances my friends drink all the stuff out front. I still have a reserve. I don't supply much more that Captain Morgan and Sky. Nobody drinks what I drink so I am lucky in that respect...But sangria if mixed correctly can be just like jungle juice...

98JeepTJ, I completely agree with you--vodka and mountain dew was ALWAYS my drink through college, but not with Skyy(sp?) Vodka. I always bought the cheap stuff (McCormick, etc) by the half gallon and kept it in the freezer. My friends still give me sh*t about those days because I always showed up with some brand of "bottled water" and another 20 oz of Mountain Dew for a chaser so that I wouldn't get busted walking around with a bottle of vodka in my hand or for having glass on the beach.
