lunchbox lockers and black ice

I drove my Jeep 31 miles to work this morning with black ice the whole way.
This is the first time to drive it on slippery roads since installing the lockers. It wasn't all that bad actually.
Anybody else running them, what do you think about them?

Been running mine for 2-3 years. Never had an issue in snow/ice. There are a bunch of naysayers on this forum though that are convinced youll kill kittens everytime. They are also the same folks who have never experienced it for themselves.

Dont drive like a ******* and youll be fine.

It's kind of funny that I counted at least 3 front wheel drive cars off in the ditch, my Jeep never slipped once, except when I tried a very tight turn into the parking lot.

Its just physics. Keep it straight and you will continue straight. I have them front and rear and black ice is all we get here.
