Looking or good, free DVD player software

I lost the CD that came with my DVD/CD-R drive I bought a while ago. So, I have no software to play DVDs. Everything I have found on download.com so far is garbage.

I am kinda 'out of it' as far as software nowadays - what is a good piece of software for playing DVD's that won't give me a bunch of crap and will work?

I don't think that they put those cards into dell poweredge's.

Windows Media Player works; but I prefer the uhm... extended trial version of Cyberlink's PowerDVD.

PM for info.

I'm pretty sure when I downloaded DivX 6.0, I could watch DVDs using windows media player.. Works fine for me.
